The drawback to plastic trim is that it cannot parallel the highly lustrous, bright finish of metal components. Eventually, techniques were developed for plating ABS plastic with metal, usually chrome, to combine the lightweight flexibility of plastics with the durability and bright finish of metal, creating a product with all the advantages of both materials.
Whilst Chrome plating plastic is also an aesthetic improvement it can also save time and money and in this day and age every little helps!
We recommend changing the oil & filter every 6,000 miles. For turbocharged cars it is recommended to change the oil every 3,000 miles. Driving in the city or built up areas is a harsh environment for any car. Lots of cold starts and short journeys not allowing the engine to reach operating temperature along with frequent gear changes and stop/start driving requires a car to have regular maintenance.
Why
The job of the fuel filter is to stop dirt particles entering the fuel system and engine. Fuel filters are often overlooked when servicing and if left for too long the filter element can collapse causing a drop in fuel pressure and eventually a breakdown.

Another popular type of electroplating is chrome plating. Chrome electroplating is really popular for car and motorcycle engine parts, as well as for vehicle accessories. In addition to the types of electroplating that have already been discussed, there’s also tin electroplating ( used in tin cans and other tin items ) process before complete. Chrome Electroplating. Single items can be electroplated using a small electroplating bath, and anodes made of the plating metal. With these three methods of electroplating, a large number of parts are either wired together using wire made of the desired plating metal, laid together on a rack made of the plating metal, or tumbling the pieces being plated in a barrel-like... Not only are there a number of different types of metal plating, there are also a number of different types of electroplating processes. When it comes to electroplating, there are a large number of various metals you can use -not only as your base metal, but also as the plate itself.
